Bachi
Nearly all our bachi, drumsticks, are made of hinoki, Japanese cedar wood. The main reason for using this kind of wood is that it is light and soft which makes them extremely ergonomic in use.
We also offer take bachi, long, slightly flat drumsticks carved from bamboo. They give a sharp, slapping sound that is less resonant than a bachi made of wood. Using take bachi is more difficult than a wooden drumstick.
On request we can make a quotation for other kinds of bachi such as drumsticks made of oak or birch wood.
Unlike the musical instruments we offer for sale, all the bachi in our shop our new and not used before.
