Shipping and Delivery Policy

The following applies to all our customers (“you”, ‘’your’’) that are purchasing a product or renting a drum offered by Tentekomai (“we”, ‘’us’’, ‘’our’’). 

Please ensure you have read and understand our shipping and delivery policy before renting or buying our product(s).

In case of any questions, please contact us before renting or buying.

Collecting your purchase or rented drum at our warehouse

Purchases can be collected on appointment and free of charge at our warehouse located at Pottenbakkersstraat 7, Ridderkerk, the Netherlands. 

Rentals can also be collected by appointment at our warehouse on the condition that the transport of the instruments will be safe and secure and that we agree with the mode of transport and handling method. 

The customer will be fully responsible for any damage or loss of the rented products as a result of improper handling, lack of qualified personnel, inadequate transportation system, inappropriate packaging, improper maintenance of transport or any other lack of good handling and care. 

Shipping of purchases (except for big drums)

We will only ship smaller purchases. Drums for rental and purchased drums will not be shipped but delivered by our own delivery service (see below). Delivery time of a shipment for the Netherlands and Belgium is usually 2-5 working days. For international orders, please allow us to take up to 10 working days. Items will be shipped after having received your payment. 

Shipping times cannot be guaranteed and we will not be responsible for delayed shipments. We do our best to expedite in accordance with your order, but ultimately there is always a chance that an order can be delayed, lost or damaged. We will not be responsible for any fault caused by the shipping company. If there is a gross negligence on our part we will refund you accordingly. 

Shipping charges are calculated based on weight, size and delivery location. You will be informed on the shipping cost, if applicable, at the time of your order. 

When mistakes or errors are made concerning prices of shipping costs, these mistakes or errors are in no way binding for us. 

We advise that you provide an address for delivery where you or someone on your behalf will be available to sign for your parcel as deliveries take place during business hours and require a signature upon receipt. We do not ship to post box offices.

We will forward the tracking number to you via email as soon as it is provided by the selected carrier. With this number, you will be able to track the progress of the shipment. 

If desired, you can request us to provide a quotation for insured shipment. 

In case of loss or damage of a package, we offer you support in submitting complaints to the selected carrier. In case of damage of a shipment, the situation must be reported by the person in charge of receiving the shipment to the driver of the selected carrier at the time of delivery. Any damages to the shipment must be reported at the moment of the delivery by filling a damage report with the driver or by signing the proof of delivery with reservation. Otherwise, the selected carrier or the insurance company may reject any claim for damages. However we will not be responsible for any loss or damage during the shipment. 

Tentekomai delivery service for drums

We offer a delivery service for rented drums and purchases of big drums within the EU. You will be informed on the delivery cost by means of a quotation. The delivery charges are calculated based on the volume of the transport, the delivery location and, in case of rental, on the rental term. 

You are responsible for providing a complete, exact address and contact details and any other relevant information to facilitate the delivery. 


Please be aware that international orders outside the EU may incur a customs or import duty fee that would have to be paid by you. We suggest that you contact your local customs office for current charges before you order to avoid any unexpected charges. 

We are not responsible for any duties taxes or import charges associated with any exported package through UPS, DHL,  FEDEX, USPS or any shipping courier. It is the customers responsibility to pay the expected taxes. 

Refused package and return to sender

If a package is refused or the address provided by the customer is incorrect, the customer will be held responsible to pay all shipping costs for sending the order back to us.
